LINK BETWEEN SOME VIRULNCE FACTORS GENES AND ANTIBACTERIAL RESISTANCE OF PSEUDOMONAS AERUGINOSA

چکیده
The research was aimed to demonstrate the frequency of virulence factors genes (exoenzyme S and exotoxin A) express their relationship antibacterial resistance among Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolated from patients suffering otitis externa. results were revealed that only twenty one (32%) out 65 clinical ear swabs aeruginosa. According PCR amplification, 18 (85.7%) bacterial isolates expressed both toxins ( exoenzyme A). data get by real time experiments give higher percentage seen against Ceftazidime (90.5%) Gentamicin (88.5%).Only thirteen (61,90%) Multidrug (MDR) –Pseudomonas detected, two (9.5%) resist all 8 classes antibiotics considered as PDR, three (14.2%) seven which XDR.

Relation between Resistance to Antipseudomonal β-Lactams and ampC and mexC Genes of Pseudomonas aeruginosa
Background: In order to select a better antibiotic choice for treatment of Pseudomonas aeruginosa infections, this study was conducted to determine the frequency of resistance to some antipseudomonal β-lactams in P. aeruginosa isolates from patients in Tehran, Iran. In addition, the relation between presence of genes known to be responsible for resist...
متن کاملAntibiotic resistance profiles of Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolates containing virulence genes
Background: A most common opportunistic pathogen, Pseudomonas aeruginosa is present in both humans and animals and responsible for various nosocomial infections and healthcare settings related infections. Different virulence genes like; oprL (membrane lipoprotein L) and toxA (exotoxin A i.e. ETA) in P. aeruginosa, assist in its pathogenicity, toxicity and contribute to high antibiotic resistanc...
متن کاملComparative sensitivity and resistance of some strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Pseudomonas stutzeri to antibacterial agents.
A comparison has been made of the sensitivities to various antibiotic and non-antibiotic substances of some strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa and P. stutzeri, the latter including strains isolated from eye and other cosmetic products and from other sources. Whereas P. aeruginosa strains showed a high resistance to cetrimide and to benzalkonium chloride, the P. stutzeri strains were generally mo...
متن کاملPseudomonas aeruginosa: Burn Infection, Treatment and Antibacterial Resistance
Pseudomonas aeruginosa is an opportunistic pathogen causing severe, acute and chronic nosocomial infections in immunocompromised, catheterized or burn patients. Various types of virulent factors have been identified in P. aeruginosa, suggesting their contribution to the pathogenesis of the disease. The organism is generally resistant to numerous antimicrobial agents due to natural resistance in...

Background & Objective: Traditional medicines have a wide range of pharmacological properties. This work was aimed to investigate the antimicrobial effect of Thymus vulgaris, Matricaria chamomilla, Melissa officinalis and Rhus coriaria extracts against clinical isolates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Materials and Methods: 180 P. aeruginosa clinical isolates were examined. disc diffusion method as...
